Preorder Terms
01 Who you're buying from
Day One preorders on eatnofu.com are sold by Crushin, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as Nofu ("Nofu," "we," "us"). These preorder terms apply to your purchase together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If anything conflicts, these preorder terms control the purchase.
02 What you're preordering
- One Day One box: a 12-pack of snack bags plus 2 extra bags, shipped to one address in the United States. Shipping is included in the price. The final bag size is confirmed before your order ships.
- Protein target: 15 g per bag. If the lab-verified protein comes in under 15 g per bag, we'll email you before your order ships and you can cancel for a full refund.
- The product is still in development. Flavors, recipe, packaging and the flavor mix in your box may change before it ships. Nutrition numbers on the site are targets until a lab verifies them; the final label will list ingredients, nutrition and allergens. Nofu is made from soy.
- Day One extras (the 2 extra bags, the flavor vote, the price lock and the optional name in the first run) only apply if Nofu goes into production. The Day One price lock covers Nofu bought directly from eatnofu.com through December 31, 2027.
03 Payment
You're charged the full price shown at checkout, once, when you place the preorder. The price includes shipping and any sales tax we're required to collect. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
04 The January 1, 2027 decision
On January 1, 2027 we decide whether to put Nofu into production, and we'll email every Day One customer the answer.
If it's a no, we refund every preorder in full to the original payment method by January 15, 2027. You don't need to ask.
05 When it ships
If it's a go, we expect to ship Day One boxes in 2027 and will ship no later than June 30, 2027. We'll email you a firmer date once production is scheduled.
If we can't ship by the date we've given you, we'll email you before that date with a new date and the choice to cancel for a full refund. If the new date is more than 30 days later than the one you were promised, we'll cancel and refund your order unless you tell us you'd rather keep waiting.
06 Cancelling and refunds
- Before it ships: email hi@eatnofu.com from the address you ordered with, and we'll refund you in full within 10 business days. No reason needed.
- After it ships: because it's food, we can't take back bags once they're delivered. If your box arrives damaged or wrong, or never arrives, email us within 14 days of the delivery date (with a photo if it's damaged) and we'll replace it or refund you.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show it.
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. It's faster for you, and we'll sort it out.
07 Shipping and limits
We ship to addresses in the United States only. If your address changes, email us before your order ships. Day One is capped at 100 boxes, and the counter on the site shows how many are claimed.
08 Changes and contact
