01 Agreeing to these terms

eatnofu.com is operated by Crushin, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Nofu," "we," "us"). By using the site or joining our email list, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. We may update these terms; the version posted here with its effective date is the one that applies.

02 What this site is

A pre-launch site for a product in development: a shelf-stable, tear-and-eat seasoned soy protein snack. Right now the site exists to explain the idea and collect email addresses from people who want to hear how it goes, and to take a limited number of refundable Day One preorders.

Joining the list isn't a sale. It does not reserve product, create an order, or obligate us to make or ship anything. Whether Nofu goes into production is a decision we plan to make on January 1, 2027, and we may decide not to. Day One preorders are separate purchases covered by the Preorder Terms.

04 The email list

When you submit your email, you're asking us to send you Nofu updates — product news, taste tests, flavor votes, and eventually launch and offers. We send them when there's something real to say, not on a schedule.

You can leave any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing hi@eatnofu.com. How we handle your address is in the Privacy Policy. Only submit an email address you control.

05 Using the site

Don't do the obvious things: no scraping or bulk-submitting the form, no attempts to break, overload or get into parts of the site that aren't yours, no fake or automated signups, no using the site to break the law. We can block access if you do.

06 Our stuff

The Nofu name, the wordmark, the logo, the packaging designs, the photography, the illustration and the writing on this site belong to us. A U.S. trademark application for the NOFU word mark has been filed by Crushin, LLC. You may share links and screenshots; you may not use our name or designs on your own products, packaging, or merchandise, or in a way that suggests we endorse you.

If you send us an idea, a flavor suggestion, or feedback, we may use it without owing you anything. Please don't send us anything you consider confidential.

07 Other people's sites

We link to places like Instagram. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what's there.

08 No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every statement about a product still in development will turn out to be accurate. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

09 Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Nofu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or the email list. Since you pay us nothing for either, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is capped at $100.

Some states don't allow parts of this, so parts may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for anything the law says can't be limited — including, if we ever sell you food, liability relating to that food.

10 Preorders and sales

Day One preorders, including payment, shipping and refunds, are governed by our Preorder Terms. Future orders will have their own sale terms published at the time. Those control the purchase; these terms cover the site and the email list.

11 Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Lorain County, Ohio, and we both consent to that. Before filing anything, email hi@eatnofu.com and give us 30 days to sort it out — most things can be solved with an email.
